I have been telling all my friends and family, as I'm traveling, it's so hard to pick and choose one dish or two dishes because I want to try as many as I can. This was the first spot that has met this expectation and experience. The service was great, welcoming and very quick at recommending what's kind of dish I can try as a desert, which was the sugar coated corn dog. I'm gonna say it blow me away. I thought it was going to be a normal American corn dog but not at all. It was so fluffy, soft and the cheeses melted in your mouth, Amazing! As for the rest of the plat all I can say is this is why I love good Asian food. Every sample had an exploding different flavor that just kept you asking for more. If you don't know what to get, just get the sampler "1." It will give you everything you wanted and some. This was such a great spot! When I drove up, I felt like I just hit a hidden gem on this corner.

The staff was friendly and I got my food in a decent amount of time. When I got into my car, the aroma immediately flooded my car and I could not wait to get home! I ate the bulgogi kimbap first and it was delicious. Very fresh ingredients and the rice had great flavor. It reminded me of high school, making sushi with my friends that were Okinawan. Then - the spicy/sweet fried chicken. I want to preface this by saying I was raised off southern comfort/soul food. My great grandmother had chickens in the backyard so I know what good chicken tastes like. I love fried chicken. When I say this is the BEST fried chicken I've ever had - that says something. The chicken had a phenomenal crunch to it. The meat was tender and juicy. The flavor was phenomenal. If you love fried chicken - you have to come here. If you don't, you'll be missing out on the best experience in Jacksonville. I found my new regular spot. See you soon, Taste of Korea. Thank you for making phenomenal food.

Taste of Korea Food Truck had the crispiest soy wings I've ever had, with meat that's incredibly juicy. The dumplings were adorably tiny and delicious. Plus, the people running the truck are super friendly. Definitely stop by if you see the truck!

I was thrilled to see this truck incidentally as we were looking for another truck. I decided to change my plans and get something from Taste of Korea instead and I'm glad that I was able to try it. I got the regular doshirak, which was essentially a large bento box. I opted for beef bulgogi and it came with rice, a fried dumpling, japchae, kimchi, pickled veggies, Korean rolled egg, bean sprouts, and a couple of other sides. The food was ready faster than the 15 minutes quoted, which was great. I enjoyed the bulgogi. It was tender and had good flavor. The pickled veggies and kimchi were the most flavorful sides. I also liked the japchae. The dumpling was too greasy, as evidenced by the grease in the wrapper and the egg and rice didn't have much flavor. The egg needed salt. I really wanted - and should've ordered - the Korean hot dog...next time. This place has great customer service and packaging. It's a bit pricey at $20 for what you get or for comparable options, which are within the $15-17 range.

I have heard about this food truck for awhile now and thought of giving it try since I have been hearing food reviews about it. The reviews are right. This place is amazing. Ordered the premium box with beef bulgogi. For $25, it is definitely worth the price. The bulgogi was delicious. Meat is not greasy nor salty. The side dishes complimented the meat. We got our order fairly quick. Will definitely go back to this place to try the other items.

When I was a kid, I was definitely into hot wheels cars. At 99 cents per car, I couldn't get enough of them. Whether they were small versions of actual vehicles in production, or crazy dragsters or monster themed or anything else the wizards at Mattel could come up with, I wanted them all. You know what I didn't really want or collect as a kid? Trucks. Sorry Tonka. But I just didn't care about dump trucks or bulldozers or big rigs. And you know what, I kind of felt that way as an adult about food trucks. I mean, to me they were fine, but like my penchant for hot wheels in the past, I'd rather go to a sit down restaurant. Yeah, well Taste of Korea has me rethinking my food truck aversion! Located in a pretty ordinary parking lot on Beach Blvd, this is definitely a little food truck that can deliver some fantastic food! The guy taking orders is super friendly and patient as a noob like me tried to figure out what to order. Ultimately went with the Premium Doshirak, the bibimbap and the kimbap. For both the doshirak and the bibimbap I got the bulgogi beef for the protein. On the kimbap I tried the ham. All were excellent. The Doshirak is a cool box filled with banchan - small side dishes, and cooked rice. The banchan include Kimche, Japchae, fried dumplings and some cool desserts. The blogs is excellent and all of the banchan tasted great. I thought the eggplant was a little mushy but the flavor was still really good. Bibimbap flavor was excellent as well. The only downside is that the rice at the bottom doesn't get all crunchy from being cooked at the bottom of the hot bowl. But it was a minor issue to me. And the kimbap was super fresh. The ham wasn't overpowering and it was a nice change from getting role bulgogi in the kimbap as well. The only wish I have is more variation on the proteins for the dishes we got. But the food is super tasty and I look forward to going back to try the fried chicken and well, anything else on the menu. Maybe I'll bring a matchbox car or two to help pass the time while waiting for the food!

BEST KOREAN FOOD IN JAX!!! Get the Regular or Premium Dosirak with your choice of protein to try a little bit of everything! I also recommend getting the Holleok (sweet pancakes) for dessert! Delicious & authentic! This food truck can be POPPIN' so you will most likely have to wait around 20-30+ minutes for your food, but it's worth it.

Excellent Korean food truck. Food is better than most Korean restaurants in Jax. Location is a little bit funny and it can be hot in the summer sun, so plan on eating in your car or taking it home. The meals are well packaged and pit together with lots of care. The staff is cool and they bring your food out to you. Some come by before these guys open up there own place. The truck is poppin'.

When I first drove by this truck, I had to make a u-turn to go back. It was exciting to see more variety of food trucks available in Jacksonville. On my first trip, I ordered a few items. The taste did not disappoint. The chicken wings were sweet and sticky, with chopped peanuts sprinkled on top. The Korean hot dog was part cheese and part hot dog. There was a nice, light batter and coated with sugar. It was a wonderful balance of sweet and savory. I've also had the premium doshirak box. They were out of japchae, but gave me extra rice and egg. Everything was delicious. The mandu was crispy, the bulgogi juicy and full of sweet and salty flavour. I love this food truck.

10/10. Hands down, best AUTHENTIC Korean food in Jax (from the opinion of a Korean) We stopped by on a Sunday, and there was a steady flow of traffic. After ordering, we waited in the car and the food was brought out to us. It did take about 15-20 min, but everything is made fresh, and I promise, it's well worth the wait. First thing to note, the packaging is absolutely adorable! In true Korean fashion, you can tell a lot of thought and care went into packing everything up and making sure you had everything that you needed, which really set the tone for a truly enjoyable meal. What we ordered: Premium doshirak with spicy pork: Holy cow, it's unbelievable how much food was packed into this one box! Everything tasted exactly how it should, and managed to capture every element of an authentic Korean meal in one handy and convenient box. From the purple rice, to the Korean omelette, to the soup and different kinds of banchan, I was in awe of just how well they managed to piece it all together. I do wish the pork was just a tad spicier, but I think it's perfectly made to cater a more diverse audience since not everyone likes their mouth lit on fire during a meal. Sausage and cheese hot dog: From Koreatown NYC to Atlanta, this is probably one of the better, if not best, Korean corn dogs I've had. The exterior was nice and light, and had the the perfect cheese pull. Ham kimbap: Tasted fresh, was rolled well, and packed full of ingredients Hotteok: Not my favorite hotteok, but still really good! I wish there was a little more filling inside, but I'm just glad that there is finally someplace to get this sweet little doughy goodness it in Jax! All in all, Taste of Korea literally just leveled up the Jax food scene and has finally filled in a gap that has been missing for quite some time. Well done.. I'm truly a fan.
